MS. CHERYL WALL, 69, OF PATTON STREET, HAMLET, PASSED ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 25, 2021 AT FIRST HEALTH MOORE REGIONAL IN PINEHURST, NC. She was born March 30, 1952 to the late Howard J. Banks,II and Doris M. Lang in Queens, New York. Cheryl has gone on to be in that number with the Lord and her husband, Jack.
Cheryl and Jack moved their family to Hamlet, North Carolina in 1981. It was in NC that Cheryl graduated with both an Associates and a Bachelors degree. She went on to work in the mental health and social work field until retiring in 2004.
Cheryl, known by most as NeeNee and by many more as Beany, was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, ans a host of friends who became her chosen family.
Angels awaiting Cheryl's heavenly arrival, along with her parents, are husband Jack, and her sister Linda Gittens from Charlotte, NC. Cheryl is survived by her daughters Antoineete and Kara; grandchildren Dareus, Damareay, Alana, and Antwan; also her great-granddaughter Kaia. Her other siblings Karen and Howard III. A host of special cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who are like family.
